About Us
Charleston Medical Group Management Association was formed as a nonprofit organization in South Carolina to provide continuing education and networking opportunities to managers of private medical practices and other healthcare-related sponsors in Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, Colleton, Beaufort, and Jasper counties.
The objectives of this organization are to:
- Enhance the quality of medical care in the greater Charleston, South Carolina area through the professional administration of healthcare practices,
- Encourage the effective and efficient management of healthcare delivery systems through professional development and the exchange of ideas within its membership, and
- Promote excellence in healthcare management by its commitment to training, continuing education, and the recognition of achievement and leadership of healthcare managers.
Meetings
Charleston Medical Group Management Association typically meets 4 to 6 times per year alternating between Tuesday and Thursday and breakfast and lunch to allow for all to attend some meetings. We will have an informative healthcare-related presentation followed by open forum discussion, networking, etc. See the list below for details on our upcoming chapter events.

Sponsorships
We are always looking for sponsors to support our meetings. Vendor sponsorships are available for $300 per session (breakfast or lunch meetings). Sponsors receive a 15-minute presentation opportunity prior to the meeting, along with the ability to network and engage directly with practice managers and healthcare leaders during the event. It’s a great way to build relationships and showcase your solutions to a highly targeted audience.
